A: Yes indeed. Race day registration and packet pickup opens at 6:30 am. Please note: if you want to register on race day for the timed 5K run and be eligible for an award, please make sure you are at the registration table (or in line) by 7:40 am on race morning. top ⇑

Packet Pick up will be Friday Sept. 10th from 10am to 8pm with Happy Hour from 4pm to 8pm. top ⇑
A: Each runner will receive a packet containing his or her race number, race information, Got Guts t-shirt, information from our sponsors, PureFit and Kind Bars, and other goodies. top ⇑
A: The Got Guts race events will take place at Walter E. Long Park, located at 6614 Blue Bluff Rd., Austin, Texas.

A: Got Guts consists of two racing events:
A: Got Guts is a rain or shine event! However, if lightning is present, we may delay the start of our events. Please check this Got Guts web site for last-minute weather updates. top ⇑
A: Sure! But please be aware that the course does contain unpaved surfaces, so sturdier, off-road style strollers may be necessary. If you are running with a stroller, we do ask that you line up towards the back of the starting group to avoid tripping any runners who are trying to get a fast start. top ⇑
A: The 1k trail run is for kids 12 years old and younger. We have created this special event for kids who want to participate but who may not be able to complete the entire 5k run or walk. The kids′ race will take place before the 5k so that you can cheer on your little ones beforehand. All 1k finishers will receive a ribbon. top ⇑
A: Yes, we have three award categories. Prizes will be awarded for the following:
A: Official times will be posted on the Got Guts web site. We expect to have the full results within one day after the race. top ⇑
A: Of course! We welcome people of all fitness and interest levels. This is a trail walk ⁄ run, so you can complete it at whatever pace is comfortable for you.
If running ⁄ walking is just not your thing, you can skip the race and simply register for the food fair. top ⇑

A: The Got Guts Gluten–Free Food Fair will take place at the Walter E. Long Park — the same site as the 5K race. top ⇑
A: The Gluten–Free Food Fair will open at 8:00 am. Enjoy some snacks and head over to the finish line so that you can cheer on your favorite runners! top ⇑
A: You can register online for the Food Fair or sign up on race day. Advanced purchase food fair tickets are $30 for adults and $15 for children 12 and under. Registered runners get in free. Prices increase by $5 on race day. top ⇑

A: Thanks to a generous donation of screening tests by Prometheus Labs, we plan to offer Celiac screening for up to 300 participants at Got Guts this year! Screening will be available to registered participants at the event. Registration is currently open and early bird pricing is in effect until September 1. A: Other than registering for the Got Guts event, there is no additional fee for the screening. Register for any of the Got Guts event categories such as the run, walk, kids 1K run, or just the food fair. Registration page
A: Blood will be drawn at the Got Guts event on a first-come first-served basis. Results will be communicated to individual participants via mail or phone once the tests have been processed by Prometheus. top ⇑

A: If you have undiagnosed Celiac, you are at risk for developing serious health conditions and damaging your digestive system. Celiac Disease affects one in 133 Americans and most are not diagnosed. Many will have no symptoms. top ⇑
A: Yes, although we do ask that you please register for the event in order to receive screening. top ⇑
A: If you cannot attend in person, you can still show support by selecting “donation” on our registration category portion of the registration form.
